category: featured

Man it must be three o’clock or something because my snack-need-o-meter is at its bursting point. Please hold while I go grab a piece of candy from down the hall…Ok, sweet (literally), let’s dive right in. The burning question on everyone’s mind and the reason we are all gathered here, what snacks go with wine?! It’s flippin’ time somebody answered this question and didn’t list off the generic cheese and crackers *yawn*. That’s so boring and adult. Let’s break it down by our fizzy-favorite wine pairing snacks from animal crackers to the lazy, but brilliant, leftover pizza.

What snacks go with wine

Wine Pairing Snacks – What Snacks Go With Wine?

    • Animal Crackers and Riesling

Classic and brilliant. Someone made the conscious decision to call these tiny delicious cookies…Crackers. It sure makes me feel better when I scarf down the whole bag! These bites of tasty call for a nice glass of Riesling and a moment to chillax. Slightly sweet with mild acidity, this wine brings out the sweet cookie deliciousness of animal crackers.

    • Popcorn and Chardonnay

The ultimate wine pairing snack, popcorn and Chardonnay go together like bread and butter. No joke! The buttery-ness of popcorn totally accentuates the buttery, oak-y flavors of the Chardonnay. If you’re a fan of butter, these two are 100% for you.

    • Toaster Pastries and Fizzy Rosé

Toaster pastries are absolutely not a “breakfast only” food. If you haven’t tried it already, toaster pastries are a down right awesome afternoon snack, evening snack, or “I’m flippin’ hangry” snack. Take your snacking to the next level by pairing these babies with a can of flipflop Fizzy Rosé. The faux-fruit filling will pair splendidly with the hints of berry in this fizzy can.

    • Pistachios and Pinot Noir

Sorry if they’re still in their shells, but if they’re not and you can consume them by the handful, consider pouring yourself a glass of Pinot Noir to wash it down! The subtleties of the Pinot Noir complement the nutty deliciousness of pistachios en masse (aka handful after handful).

    • Corn Chips and Cabernet Sauvignon

The sharper the powdery flavor of these corn chips, the better! Cool ranch, sour cream and onion, fiery nachos…All these bold flavors make the boldness of our Cabernet Sauvignon pop. If you want your snack to really wake you up, corn chips and Cabernet are the wayyyy to go. Flippin’ phenomenal, no joke.

    • Mini Cupcakes and Moscato

Awww, mini cupcakes, how sweet! If you’re snacking on these bite sized morsels, 1) I’m jealous 2) consider opening a bottle of Moscato and pouring yourself a glass. The sweetness of the Moscato pairs well with the sugary cupcake bite you’re enjoying (or fantasizing about enjoying). Did I mention that excessive sprinkles makes this pairing EVEN BETTER?

    • Fruit Snacks and Fizzy Sangria

Bursting with delicious fruit flavors and notorious for disappearing as soon as you open them (Idk about all of you, but it takes me about four fruit snack packets to feel at all satiated), fruit snacks pair perfectly with our Fizzy Sangria. Sangria is known for its variety of flavors, and you best believe it washes down your handfuls of blackberry, raspberry, cherry, pineapple, orange, apple, grape, lemon, ETC. fruit snacks.

    • PB&J Sandwich and Fizzy Crisp White

For those of you who put effort into snack time – I commend you – a PB&J doesn’t have to be left alone, especially when its flavors go AWESOME with our Fizzy Crisp White. The sweetness of this wine goes well with the fruity/sugary-ness of the jelly, while the crispness helps to put a spotlight on that delicious peanut butter. What could be better than this pairing? A PB&J flipflop flavor! Jklolz, April Fools!

    • Leftover Pizza and Pinot Grigio

COLD PIZZA. Literally the world’s greatest (and most unintentionally perfect) invention. Pizza and Pinot Grigio are meant for each other. This semi-dry and slightly fruity wine pairs well with all Italian flavors, especially the cheesy delicious kind. Seriously, a flippin’ awesome combo.

    • Yogurt with Granola and Pink Moscato

I kid you not, this pairing makes snack time, the BEST time. The sweet flavors of Pink Moscato pair well with creamy fruit-flavored yogurt topped with tasty granola. Sweet, sweet, perfection.
